Heroes Assemble! April 18th is Time For Action

CALLING ALL SUPER HEROES! Sierra Donor Services’ 5th Annual Donor Dash 5K & Health Fair is just around the corner. Join us Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 7:30 a.m. at Crocker Park, 211 O Street, Sacramento, CA 95814, as we come together for a family and dog-friendly superhero-themed event to honor donor heroes and the lives they saved.
From selfless organ, eye and tissue donors to triumphant transplant recipients, to those courageously waiting for a transplant, healthcare heroes, and community champions who make a difference each day, we hope to share the importance of donation with our community!
You can help us encourage others by:
- ASSEMBLING YOUR TEAM! Register and encourage your loved ones to join you on a run/walk.
- SPONSORING THE RUN! There are several sponsorship levels to choose from. All contributions are greatly appreciated!
- VOLUNTEERING WITH US! All volunteers are welcome! (kids under 12 must be with an adult)
- CUSTOMIZING YOUR FUNDRAISING PAGE! Make your fundraising page your own once you register for the Donor Dash 5K. Encourage others to donate and support your efforts!
Our goal is to raise $75,000 to fund scholarships for healthcare students from underserved communities and expand outreach that inspires more people in our region to register as donors. With every step, we raise awareness about the urgent need for organ, tissue, cornea donation, and the lives that depend on it. Say “YES” to donation today!
