Sierra Donor Services Awards New Scholarship to Capitol City Black Nurses Association Students

Sierra Donor Services was proud to announce the inaugural Sierra Donor Services Lifesaver Nursing Scholarship for the Capitol City Black Nurses Association (CCBNA) at CCBNA’s Annual Scholarship Gala in September.
The scholarship program awarded a total of $6,000 to two nursing students, Mariah Wolfe and Cayla Cook, for their outstanding personal statements, academic achievements and dedication the the nursing profession.

Meet Mariah Wolfe!
Mariah is a student in the Master of Science in Nursing – Family Practitioner degree program at Samuel Merritt University. As a member of both the Bay Area Black Nurses Association and Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc., she is dedicated to supporting and uplifting her community.

Meet Cayla Cook!
Cayla is pursuing an Entry Level Master of Science in Nursing degree at the University of the Pacific. As a woman of color who has navigated numerous challenges, she is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to diverse populations.
