Remembering Mollie Murphy

Sierra Donor Services is saddened to hear that our beloved Donate Life Ambassador, Mollie Murphy, passed away.
Mollie received a heart transplant at the age of 13 and lived life to the fullest. Our Ambassadors are the heart of our outreach work to inspire people to become organ, eye, and tissue donors through their passion. Mollie embodied this sentiment with her eagerness to volunteer with us despite being a busy mom of a toddler.
Just recently, Mollie answered our call for heart recipients to create 2 social media videos, one sending well wishes to former NBA player, Scot Pollard, on his heart transplant. She felt strongly about conveying gratitude for her donor hero. Watch the videos below:
We hope that Mollie’s family is comforted in knowing that her passion will live on through our work.
