Bridging the Gap to Life: A Multicultural Donor Awareness Month Celebration

Did you know in California and Nevada nearly 78% on the organ waiting list are people of color? Although waiting for a lifesaving organ is common among communities of color, many are reluctant to register as organ and tissue donors. In honor of National Multicultural Donor Awareness Month (NMDAM), Sierra Donor Services is hosting a virtual event featuring local leaders connected to organ and tissue donation.
