Sierra Donor Services (SDS) joined the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI Sacramento) at their 2nd Annual Gala in Sacramento on Saturday, February 10. It was an evening full of fun, live music performances, elaborate Indian cuisine, and even a magic show for the children in attendance. This charity event and membership drive hosted more than 250 adults and children – about 200 of those were physicians in the Sacramento region.
SDS held a booth with information on organ, eye and tissue donation at the front entrance and had lots of help from the youth volunteers with AAPI Sacramento. The youth volunteers were eager to learn and even helped record video content for our social media.
We are excited to continue fostering a relationship with this local group!
