A Volunteer Day at the Sacramento Ronald McDonald House
July 30, 2025

Sierra Donor Services is always eager to further our mission of giving back to the community. We were thrilled to return to the Sacramento Ronald McDonald House (RMH) for a Summer Volunteer Day after a great experience volunteering there last December!
Our team fired up the grill and brought the beach vibes to RMH. We prepared and served families a delicious dinner, including cheeseburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, green salads, chips, fruit and cookies. We also embraced the summer spirit by decorating the patio with luau-themed decorations and handing out leis to families.
As families enjoyed their meals, we had the opportunity to mingle and connect with those staying at RMH. Many people warmly thanked our staff for taking one worry off their minds during an already emotional day.
It’s always a pleasure to join the team at RMH to give back to families. We look forward to our next opportunity to serve RMH again!

About Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern California
The Sacramento Ronald McDonald House has served more than 20,000 families since opening its doors in 1998. The purpose of the House is to provide temporary, affordable housing to families while their child is undergoing treatment at a Sacramento-area hospital, allowing families to be together and focus on their child without that additional worry.
