March 25, 1938 – June 15, 2009
Bill served 17 years as a Medical Corpsman in the U.S. Navy. He was there to tend to the wounds of both Navy and Marine personnel. He raised his three boys and adopted two daughters, loving them dearly and encouraging independent thought and action. Bill continued serving others through volunteer work all his life. He was ready to help others in their time of need. He was an avid recycler, loved fine wine, football and computer card games. Always ready for a new adventure. Though he died suddenly and way too young, he had an old soul, very wise, and his spirit lives in every heart he has touched or body he has healed.
